MTD/JFFS2: remove CVS keywords Once upon a time, the MTD repository was using CVS. This patch therefore removes all usages of the no longer updated CVS keywords from the MTD code. This also includes code that printed them to the user. Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>

[MTD] Restore MTD_ROM and MTD_RAM types Let's not attempt the abolition of mtd->type until/unless it's properly thought through. And certainly, let's not do it by halves. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>
[MTD] replace MTD_RAM with MTD_GENERIC_TYPE Ram devices get the extra capability of MTD_NO_ERASE - not requiring an explicit erase before writing to it. Currently only mtdblock uses this capability. Rest of the patch is a simple text replacement. Signed-off-by: Joern Engel <joern@wh.fh-wedel.de>
Remove unchecked MTD flags Several flags are set by some devices, but never checked. Remove them. Signed-off-by: Jörn Engel <joern@wohnheim.fh-wedel.de> Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>
Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
